Ministerial Charter of Goals

The Ministerial Charter of Goals lists the Government commitments and priorities that each Minister is responsible for delivering through the agencies within their Ministerial Portfolio.

The charters are reviewed and updated periodically. They were last updated in June 2011.

Overview

Charters consist of a covering letter and attachments containing:

• a list of current election commitments, and the Minister and department responsible for delivering each commitment, and
• portfolio priorities for the departments within each Minister's portfolio responsibilities, which detail specific priorities for the Minister's portfolio.
